Wedding at the Cathedral

Looking back this really has been a purple year! Stacey had her wedding at the Cathedral and then moved on to the Sheraton for the recpetion. She held the wedding on July 4th, but purple was the color rather than red, white and blue. The photos were by the wonderful Sharon Hoyt The bridal flowers ready to go! I was working with Alison Ulshoffer

Alison Ulshoffer Events My office mate, Stepahnie of Stephanie J. Designs Website And the fun and fabulous Annie of Studio Z Photography Website Rebecca loved all things sparkly, so Alison found the most amazing linen at latavola linen. This was my inspiration, I decided to go elegant with a modern twist using silver candle abaras and mint juleps.But first, the bride and her maids. Rebecca loves blue and white, I went with white phalaenopsis orchids and a punch of royal blue delphinium . I just love the blue shoes! I did a cluster of phalaenopsis orchids with a pop of delphinium for the pews. Check out Stephanies amazing work! e The guests started out in the cocktail lounge, Alison made the blue pillows for the couches, I strung crystals and orchids on our metals trees, then made clusters of white flowers and surrounded them with candles for the ottomans, check them out at night! Look at that linen, AMAZING! After cocktails the guests made their way to their tables for dinner. Here we had tall silver candlabras with mini silver julep cups acting as votive holders. More of Stephanies amazing work! I love details, these are my favorite hanging votives! I have a few more but will save them for another day!

We're back!

After 10 marvelous days away, Blooms is back! Refresed and ready to take on the rest of wedding season! I am so excited to share Ryan and Rebecca's wedding, Annie from Studio Z sent them while I was away, but I only have time to post this sneak peak today, I will get the rest of the wedding posted as soon as I get through the few hundred emails I have to return:)

25th Wedding Anniversay!

Tuesday of this week was my 25th wedding anniversary, to celebrate my husband and I are going to redo our honeymoon trip! Blooms will be closed until August 18th, I will return all emails and phone calls as soon as I get back. So, I leave you with some 80's wedding photos and some beautiful new photos taken by the fabulous Penny Sylvia Photographer So young and in love! I was only 19... My 5 best high school friends! I was an only child, these girls were my sisters! And now for the new taken this week. More in love than when we started, didn't know it was possible. Still smooching!

Dave & Jenny at the Firehouse!

Here are a few more pictures from my purple wedding last Friday night at the Firehouse restaraunt all shot by the fabulous Jessica of Stout Photography Website Dave is a photographer and he was the "wedding planner" for this wedding! Gotta love a guy with style! The bridesmaids bouquet, the flower girl basket, and the brides bouquet! Darling flower girl...looks a little done! Down the aisle, notice the very, super really cool tall vases with squishy balls, you'll have to ask me about those. The reception, I just love the Firehouse courtyard. Centerpiece
