I really believe in balance, at working on being a whole person. It can be so easy to focus all your energy on work, or all your energy on you home etc...I think we need be sure we are first feeding our souls, then our relationships, and then move on out into the world. Otherwise we just aren't complete, we need to fill up our tanks so we can get out there and give our best to all those we encounter.
So I thought Tuesdays, I would get personal on my blog, open a tiny window to the bigger broader part of my life, the part that makes me a better person and a better designer. Last week we had our new friends Dan and Caroline, from Tinywater Photography over to "break bread" and share stories. We all admire there artistry and keen minds. Their histories are fasinating and I enjoyed getting a glimpse into their past, our past so contributes to who we are today. Being photographers, they brought along their cameras and shot around the property a bit. Here are a few of the images. Our welcome sign as you come up the driveway. Caroline took a picture of our spicy chocolate cake, I add a bit of cayane pepper to give it some kick, then we cool it off with a dap of whip cream. The whiped cream, Caroline just makes everything look amazing! Kate and Gabriel, what can I say, I LOVE this shot Sam looking far more serious than I am used to, but look at those eyes! Anne
