I live out in the country, I am really very blessed, I have an office in town but I have my studio/workshop out here on our property. My kids can come see if I still exsit, I can come in and see if they have done any chores. So anyhoo, out here where I live is a road called Fowler Road, the Fowler family is an old Lincoln famliy that has been here for several generations. I was so happy when Mason and Denise called to have me do their wedding flowers. Denise's mom was married on the family property on "Fowler Road" and now Denise was going to be married there as well. I had double reason to feel a special little something for this couple, Mason grew up in a flower shop his mom owned down in Southern California, he reminded me so much of my Sam. The Fowler family are nurserymen, and grow fruit trees, so it was only fitting that the reception had a pear theme.

Denise and Mason Head table centerpiece Guest centerpieces had vases filled with pears Each centerpiece held the table cards with the name of a different variaty of pear We placed 6 of these peony and pear arrangments around the family pool. I had to include this picture of the family frogs, I guess this "piece" has been in the family awhile so it became part of the pool decor for the wedding...kind of reminds me of something my grandma in law had, I have a story about frogs just like this! Those frogs taught me a lot, you'll have to ask me about it sometime ;)
